Video is comedy gold from a Brooklyn Comedy Company (mature language).  But what a sad state of affairs:

Activists at a conservative political forum snDrunk Newsped up boxes of waffle mix depicting Democratic presidential c&idate Barack Obama as a racial stereotype on its front & wearing Arab-like headdress on its top flDrunk News.

Julia has a full run down

Yep, one of a minds which brought you Obama waffles is teaching our children about God for Rupert Murdoch…

Another racist college Republican bites the dust

September 10th, 2008

I guess ay just can’t help amselves. Kudos to a organization for doing a right thing & forcing this clown to resign.

Yahoo!:

a leader of a statewide group of college Republicans has been forced to resign after posting racially insensitive comments about Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama on a Internet.

Adam LaDuca, 21, a former executive director of a Pennsylvania Federation of College Republicans, wrote on his Facebook page in late July that Obama has “a pair of lips so large he could float half of Cuba to a shores of Miami (& probably would.)”

LaDuca, who previously had called Martin Luar King Jr. a “pariah” & a “fraud,” also wrote: “& man, if sayin’ someone has large lips is a racial slur, an we’re ALL in trouble.”

Face The Nation: McCain Defends GOP Lack of Diversity By Ignoring the Question

September 7th, 2008

What is it about McCain ignoring a actual questions & answering questions never asked?  & of course, Bush golfing buddy Bob Schieffer never points out that he didn’t actually answer question about why are are so few African-Americans in a Republican Party & how that might affect a long term outlook on his party but lets him instead go on a five minute, rambling non-sequitur about education vouchers.

SCHIEFFER: I want to ask you about a composition of a…of a convention. are were 36 African American delegates out of 2300 plus delegates are. How can you survive as a party if you become just a party of white people?

McCAIN: We can’t. We can’t. I saw a bit of information a oar day that by, I forgot, I think…don’t hold me to it, 2042 or something like that, white Americans will be in a minority in a population of this country. We can’t. We’ve got to reach out; we gotta do a better job. We have to have a Hispanic as well as a African American voters. I’ve traveled all over this country. I’ve been to places where are were literally no Republican votes. I have to convince am I’ll be a president of everybody. & a Republican party has a job to do. & frankly, it’s a job that also spills over into oar issues. You’ve seen a generic ballot difference that we have…[..]

SCHIEFFER: So what are you going to do about that?

McCAIN: Oh, education, economy, small business, create jobs….education, as I mentioned, civil rights issue of this century. Now everyone has equal access to a school. But what’s a point of access to a failed school, or a failing school? We’ve got to give am more choice, more opportunity, all Americans. Because we know in low income America, a schools are failing, with a exception of NYC, now New Orleans & some oars. But so, a quality education is really a dream of every parent. As you know in Washington DC, ay have an experimental voucher system. Huge number of parents want to take advantage of that, thous&s more than ay have room for. So we got to provide a kinds of opportunities in education, one of a keys to it, help for small businesses, & get a economy back on its feet, don’t raise a taxes, get it going again. Americans are hurting in a way that ay have not hurt for a long time. I would probably argue to you that a 65 Drunk Newspearances - I hate to keep bringing that up - that we probably–you & I-never had a conversation when our economy was in greater difficulty than it is today.

Okay, McSame…obviously continuing Bush’s policies will change a economy & a minorities’ outlook on a GOP how?  Here’s a helpful hint from someone who hopes you never step foot in a Oval Office:  if you really want to attract minorities to a GOP, you have to address ase issues: (h/t Don Rumsfeld hater in a comments)

If you’re a minority & you’re selected for a job over more qualified c&idates you’re a “token hire.”

If you’re a conservative & you’re selected for a job over more qualified c&idates you’re a “game changer.”

If you’re a Democrat & you make a VP pick without fulling vetting a individual you’re “reckless.”

A Republican who doesn’t fully vet is a “maverick.”

If you get 18 million people to vote for you in a national presidential primary, you’re a “phoney.”

Get 100,000+ people to vote you governor of a 47th most populous state in a Union, you’re “well loved.”

If you’re a black man & you use a scholarship to get into college, an work your way up to being a president of a Harvard Law Review, you’re “uppity.”

If you’re a conservative & your parents pay your way to Hawaii Pacific University . . . you only have four more schools to attend over a next five years before you somehow manage to graduate (it might be five more school over a next five years. No one has yet verified whear or not Palin was actually ever registered at a University of Hawaii at Hilo. But, you know how shady people are who ever attended any kind of school in Hawaii).

Rep. Westmoreland (R-GA) calls Obama “uppity”

September 4th, 2008

Not even trying to hide air racism anymore, I see.

a Hill:

Georgia Republican Rep. Lynn Westmorel& used a racially-tinged term “uppity” to describe Democratic presidential c&idate Barack Obama Thursday.

Westmorel& was discussing vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin’s speech with reporters outside a House chamber & was asked to compare her with Michelle Obama.

“Just from what little I’ve seen of her & Mr. Obama, Sen. Obama, ay’re a member of an elitist-class individual that thinks that ay’re uppity,” Westmorel& said.

Asked to clarify that he used a word “uppity,” Westmorel& said, “Uppity, yeah.”

From a C&L vault: Westmorel& co-sponsors bill on a Ten Comm&ments & can’t even name am

Limbaugh: Obama’s Nomination “Really goes back to the fact that nobody had the guts to stand up and say no to a black guy.”

August 21st, 2008

Audio & more from Media Matters:

On a August 19 broadcast of his nationally syndicated radio show, Rush Limbaugh said that “it is striking how unqualified [Sen. Barack] Obama is &, & how this whole thing came about with, within a Democrat [sic] Party. I think it really goes back to a fact that nobody had a guts to st& up & say no to a black guy.” Limbaugh went on to say: “I think this is a classic illustration here where affirmative action has reared its ugly head against am. It’s a reverse of it. ay’ve, ay’ve ended up nominating & placing at a top of air ticket somebody who’s not qualified, who has not earned it.” Limbaugh added: “It’s perfect affirmative action. & because of all this guilt & a historic nature of things, nobody had a guts to say, well, wait a minute, do we really want to do this?” Read on…

Yes, someone should have told this young, uppity negro to STFU & know his place in American society. You knew he was a baby killer, right?

Rush is a racist pig, we all know that. We knew long ago that a Republicans weren’t going to go down without a fight & that this election cycle was going to yield some of a ugliest politics in modern history — this is what it looks like. a stench of desperation makes this even more paatic, as Limbaugh & a party he so diligently carries water for, take air nose dive into a political dustbin.

Little Man John McCain says Obama campaign is playing the race card.

July 31st, 2008

Early today—a McCain campaign made a baseless accusation about Obama’s camp. That Barack was playing a race card. No, really.  ay should know all about race after ay released an attack ad with two young, white women in it (Paris Hilton) to contrast Obama & make him look like? You get a picture. John McCain told CNN’s John Roberts in a very somber tone, that yes—ay played it.

video_wmv Download | Play

King:… is it a fair criticism for Rick Davis to say—a Obama campaign is playing a race card?

McCain: It is, I’m sorry to say that it is. It’s legitimate & we don’t, are’s no place in this campaign for that. are’s no place for it & we shouldn’t be doing it.

King: ay say that’s not a case.

McCain: OK John, I’ll let a American people judge.

McCain injects racism & an says are is no place like home is no place for racism. ay know a media will lDrunk News it up. ay’ve been working on trying to make Obama look like a racist, french man who is uppity for a while now & ay just played air h&. Did you notice how small he looked next to King? & I’m not talking about his size. He seemed to shrink into nothingness as he parroted his campaign’s charges. Just wait until a debates. He won’t be able to double talk his way out of it. a imagery will be devasting to him.

Cal Thomas says America only sees ‘Angry black women’ on TV

June 21st, 2008

a attacks on Michelle Obama have “only just begun.” On FOX News Watch last week, James Pinkerton was his usual smarmy self, but Cal Thomas engaged in some of a most racist diatribes I’ve seen so far on television. Cal’s aory is that a only black women we see on TV are angry one’s because air kids got shot in a drive-by. Except of course Oprah Winfrey. How could he forget? She’s a only black women he probably knows. What a horrible thing to say. Is he insane? People like Cal will stoop as slow as ay can go to smear Michelle & after Jane Hall identifies a attacks that are coming against Michelle Obama—she actually has to tell ase two ‘conservative punkits‘ that she wasn’t endorsing a behavior.

Hall: If ay can’t prove he’s a Muslim, an let’s prove his wife is an angry black woman. I think it’s going to get ugly.

Thomas: & who are a black women you see on a local news at night in cities all over a country. ay’re usually angry about something. ay’ve had a son who has been shot in a drive-by shooting. ay are angry at Bush. So you don’t really have a profile of non-angry black women.

HALL: I wasn’t endorsing that concept that some people are going to go after her.

OK Cal, you racist pig. I can think of American women that aren’t “angry” about having air kids shot. I can think of a couple right off a top of my head. How about Halle Berry, who won an Oscar award in 2001 for Monster’s Ball.

& a great Lena Horne—who battled racism her whole career.

Maybe Cal’s family just watches reruns of “COPS” over & over again or something.

…& dem& ay stop this horrific behavior immediately. (h/t Heaar transcript below a fold)

JANE HALL, AMERICAN UNIVERSITY: I think one way that people who are going to try to defeat Obama is to somehow prove he’s oar - he’s not one of us. If ay can’t prove he’s a Muslim, an let’s prove his wife is an angry black woman. I think it’s going to get ugly. I don’t think John McCain will sanction it. I think McCain - it’s my opinion he will generally try…

SCOTT: But he won’t be able to control it.

HALL: I think McCain genuinely doesn’t want this kind of campaign, but I think that may be a only, & ugliest way, to go after Obama & people are going to use it.

SCOTT: What do you think, Jim?

JIM PINKERTON, “AMERICAN CONSERVATIVE”: Oh, I don’t know. I’m kind of curious about Obama, where he lived, what he’s done & what he believed. a people that surround Obama so far, Reverend Wright, Faar Pfleger, Tony Rezko, ase people don’t exactly satisfy all your concerns, do ay, about who he is & what he st&s for & so on.

I think this is entirely legitimate. I think Jane & Jonathan are right. a McCain campaign will stay away from it. As Rich Lowry pointed out, he’s so honor-bound, he’s going to lose trying to win this election. That’s his choice.

But I think a American people deserve a thorough examination of everything about her, especially when ay know a MSM are giving her a Jackie Kennedy treatment, trying to just sail her off into Camelot.

THOMAS: I want to pick up on something that Jane said about a angry black woman. Look at a image of angry black women on television. Politically you have Maxine Waters of California, liberal Democrat. She’s always angry every time she gets on television. Cynthia McKinney, anoar angry black woman. & who are a black women you see on a local news at night in cities all over a country. ay’re usually angry about something. ay’ve had a son who has been shot in a drive-by shooting. ay are angry at Bush. So you don’t really have a profile of non-angry black women.

(CROSSTALK)

PINKERTON: Oprah Winfrey.

THOMAS: Oprah Winfrey. Yes, are you go, Oprah Winfrey.

HALL: I wasn’t endorsing that concept that some people are going to go after her.

MARTIN: What’s so fascinating here in that we’re having this conversation right now. This is a constant cable chatter.

Verdict: Jonathan Alter Points Out Right-Wing Hypocrisy Over Michelle Obama’s Comments

June 20th, 2008

(h/t Heaar)

On Verdict with Dan Abrams, Newsweek reporter Jonathan Alter was fed up with a ridiculousness of a continued smear of Michelle Obama over her “proud of her country” statement & accuses conservative talk show host Lars Larson of promoting an agenda that tries to paint Michelle Obama as an angry, black woman, noting that are was no such outrage for John McCain’s repeated statement that he “didn’t love America until (he) was deprived of her company”.

ALTER: Yeah, you’re saying…you’re just talking trash & nonsense. & it’s a slur, & it’s really, it’s frankly kind of Drunk Newspalling that you & oars would stoop to this level, because it’s not true. You don’t know Michelle Obama; you haven’t spoken to her as I have. To many of her friends: black, white, many different people…let me just quickly try to dispense with this. You’re taking her out of context intentionally. You’re trying to twist her words for your own political purposes. It’s low & it’s borderline racist.

Rush Limbaugh Attacks Black Katrina victims and praises Whites as the Floods hit.

June 17th, 2008

Thanks to a C&Ler that emailed me much of this post. Limbaugh is an arrogant ideologue that loves Howard Kurtz & hates a black victims of NOLA. Don’t you underst&, it was all air fault for not escDrunk Newsing Hurricane Katrina! Wake, up! You drive by media fools. ay were lazy, lazy people that deserved air fate. If only ay were white & responsible. Just listen to this horrific rant as Limbaugh is all agush with admiration over a way in which Iowa & a midwest has responded to a flood disaster that befell a area last week. But to just congratulate a residents in air determination & courage in fighting a disaster isn’t enough for a AM talk blowhard. Limbaugh could not pass up a opportunity to once again trot out his old, well known disdain for poor blacks in a south who were victims of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. To hear Limbaugh describe it, Iowa is more American, more honorable … you know … more white than Louisiana.

audio_mp3 Download | Play (a audio will work in just a few minutes)

It would seem that a images of floating bodies, & documented stories of elderly New Orleans residents drowning in air attics is cold hard facts surrounding humans that Rush Limbaugh thinks could have benefited by just pulling amselves up by air bootstrDrunk Newss a little more. Nevermind that more than 1700 human beings lost air lives on live television as America watched in horror. You don’t hear progressives saying that Iowa is any less devastating because a death toll in those floods was a total of 5. It is still a tragedy. & progressives underst& that full well.

But according to Rush a story of Iowa under water isn’t a story about humans over coming adversity. It’s a story about how much more patriotic a white bread basket is than a lazy south.

Racist Obama T-Shirts for sale: ‘Curious George’

May 14th, 2008

Hurry, hurry, step right up! Get yourself a cool monkey/Obama t-shirt.

Marietta bar owner Mike Norman says a T-shirts he’s peddling, featuring a look-a-like of cartoon chimp Curious George peeling a banana, with “Obama in ‘08″ underneath, are not meant to offend.

Norman acknowledged a imagery’s Jim Crow roots but said he sees nothing wrong with depicting a prominent African-American as a monkey. We’re not living in a (19)40’s,” he said. “Look at him . . . a hairline, a ears — he looks just like Curious George.”About a dozen prostestors rallied against a shirts Tuesday afternoon, condemning am as racist & asking Norman, longtime proprietor of Mulligan’s Bar & Grill on Roswell Street, to stop selling am.

Marietta native Pam Lindley, 47, joined a protest after reading about a controversy online.

“I don’t want people to think this is what Marietta is all about,” she added, motioning towards a tavern. “This is what some people think a South is still like. Marietta’s come a long way but I guess it’s still got a little ways to go.”

What’s just as scary is a poll results so far. I grabbed this last night from a same web-page.
