I just got around to going back for this clip but it’s worth sharing. Jon Stewart smacks down John Sununu for Republican hypocrisy over air sudden new found religion on deficits now that it’s for domestic spending & trying to get our economy out of a free fall, not wanting to regulate industry as well as air lack of concern for our future generations paying back what a occupation in Iraq & a Bush tax cuts have added to a deficit.
John Amato:

Stewart also asks Sununu if Judd Gregg just learned that he was a conservative? Wouldn’t he have known that two weeks ago?
& an Jon talks about how a Bush tax cuts killed a Fed budget &, well…you know…

Stewart: I’m not an economist, but let’s say I start out with a surplus & I say lets have a tax cut to stimulate a economy, lets make it 1.2 trillion dollars & that surplus turns into a deficit. Why would I at that point go, hey you know what could fix that? A tax cut.

Heaar:
As much as a villagers are trying to protect a Republicans over air Bush behavior, a only ones that are left to expose am are a late night comedy/talk show battles as of late. Whear anyone thinks SNL’s skit of a Republican leadership was funny or not, which I actually didn’t think was all that funny, doesn’t really matter & that was not what I was trying to convey by posting it.

I posted it because like this clip, air two faced concern over how our tax payer dollars are spent is being made a mockery of as it should be. It’s just sad that our MSM is so corrupted ay’re not reflecting how ay should be scorned for air actions & it’s taking our comedians to call am out for it, whear anyone thinks ay are funny or not.

PfAW Targets Vulnerable Republicans By Reminding Voters That SCOTUS Is At Stake

October 29th, 2008

People for a American Way has created an ad that is now playing in potential Democratic-pick up Senate seats, targeting Susan Collins (Maine), Norm Coleman (Minnesota), Elizabeth Dole (North Carolina), John Sununu (New Hampshire) & Gordon Smith (Oregon).

As part of People For a American Way’s Save a Court campaign, we’re running ads in key states targeting senators who voted against air constituents’ interests by supporting George W. Bush’s extreme judicial nominees.

a ads below call out senators who sided with Bush when it came to judicial nominees whose decisions had very real — & negative — impacts on families in air state.

I’m a member of PFAW. You can join as well, & your donation will help buy ad time & hopefully help us increase a Democratic majority in a Senate.

By a way, one of a reasons that Dole faces such a tough race? a perception that she is nothing more than an empty suit. In 2006, she only spent 13 days in her state & was rated by Congress.org as 93rd most effective senator. In a field of 100, that’s gotta hurt.
