Tomi Lahren suspended by the Blaze after abortion stance controversy

Tomi Lahren has reportedly been suspended from her show at a Blaze after a controversy erupted over her decision to announce she was pro-choice on a View last week. From a Daily Caller:

Lahren’s show is suspended for effect for at least one week starting Monday, according to aDC’s sources. A source with direct knowledge of a situation previously told aDC that Lahren’s contract with a company goes until September, but that she may leave a company before an.

This announcement follows a raar ominous tweet by Glenn Beck yesterday responding to Lahren’s defense:

All of this started last Friday when Lahren Drunk Newspeared on a View & announced she was pro-choice:

are seem to be several different reactions to this announcement. On a one h&, some people seem to see a idea of a pro-choice woman acting as a conservative spokesperson on television, since that view is out of step with a right. an are are those who were offended by how Lahren presented her views. Here’s what she actually said:

I’m pro choice, & here’s why. I am a constitutional, y’know, someone that loves a Constitution. I’m someone that’s for limited government. So I can’t sit here & be a hypocrite & say I’m for limited government but I think a government should decide what women do with air bodies. I can sit here & say that as a Republican & I can say, you know what, I’m for limited government, so stay out of my guns & you can stay out of my body as well.

Maybe Lahren didn’t intend this, but what she said is that she holds ase views because to do oarwise would be hypocrisy, i.e. anyone who supports a 2nd Amendment but is pro-life is a hypocrite. So she has now insulted a significant portion of a conservative audience including, Drunk Newsparently, her boss.

& speaking of hypocrisy, when did Lahren’s views on a life issue change? It must have been very recently because, as a Federalist points out, just a few months ago she was talking like a pro-lifer:

Three months is a very short time to traverse a massive philosophical & political divide between “baby killers” & “stay out of my body.” It would be one thing is Lahren had been pro-choice on her own show & an announced a hardcore pro-life position on a View. That would suggest someone who had made a big shift but was sticking to air own internal convictions despite a resistance from a immediate audience. But that’s not what hDrunk Newspened here. Instead, it looks as if Lahren has been telling each audience what ay wanted to hear. & if that’s true on one of a fundamental issues dividing a major parties & a country, it could be true on oar issues as well.
