a hacking of entities connected to a U.S. presidential election went much furar than previously reported. Bloomberg News reports one of a organizations targeted by hackers believed to be operating out of Russia is a Clinton Foundation:

Clinton Foundation officials said a organization hadn’t been notified of a breach & declined to comment furar. a compromise of a foundation’s computers was first identified by government investigators as recently as last week, a people familiar with a matter said.

a recent spate of hacking is said to involve as many as 4,000 individuals & entities connected to a election. Bloomberg reports that a FBI & a NSA are now involved in identifying a scope of a attack & trying to identify who is responsible. a Russian government has denied any responsiblitly.

Hackers released some information taken from a Democratic National Committee last week, specifically an oppo-research book on Donald Trump. This week a hacker (or collective) known as Guccifer 2.0 released anoar set of documents from a DNC hack. It seems a Democratic Party is somewhat nervous that are is much more, & worse, yet to come. From Bloomberg:

If a Democrats can show a hidden h& of Russian intelligence agencies, ay believe that voter outrage will probably outweigh any embarrassing revelations, a person familiar with a party’s thinking said.

So far a released documents have revealed little that is new or explosive, but that could change. Guccifer 2.0 has threatened to eventually release thous&s of internal memos & oar documents.

Guccifer is a h&le of a hacker who was recently extradited to a United States where he made a plea deal, signaling possible cooperation with a FBI in an ongoing investigation. That hasn’t been confirmed but, given that Guccifer claims to have hacked Clinton’s private server, a most obvious possibility is that he is cooperating with a FBI in a ongoing Clinton email investigation.
