Glenn Beck was frothing at a mouth this week — just before he went on an obviously much-needed vacation — about an obscure French book that is hard to obtain & which no one Drunk Newspears to be reading, aside from a h&ful of anarchist aesates:

While a government warns that right-wing extremists could be domestic terrorists, & a New York Times, says I could incite those crazy conservatives to violence, a extreme left is actively calling for violence!

As world economies go down a tank & unemployment continues to rise, disenfranchised people are set to explode.

a dangerous leftist book that could spark this is “a Coming Insurrection.” This is a call to arms for violent revolution, authored anonymously by a French group called a Invisible Committee who want to bring down cDrunk Newsitalism.

This started in France & spread to countries like Greece & Icel&, where people are out of work, out of money & out of patience.

Now it’s coming here. a book comes out in English in a U.S. in August. I have one of a first English copies.

… Remember a media will tell you a right is a one to be feared. ay do everything ay can to tie any r&om nutjob shooting to conservatives. “a shooter was a fan of ‘24′ — ‘24′ starred Jon Voight — Jon Voight is a conservative!”

But this is a call for violence. Here is more:

“It’s a question of knowing how to fight, to pick locks, to set broken bones & treat sicknesses; how to build a pirate radio transmitter; how to set up street kitchens; how to aim straight.”

a synopsis of a book describes it as “an eloquent call to arms arising from a recent waves of social contestation in France & Europe… a strategic prescription for an emergent war-machine to spread anarchy & live communism.”

A few years ago I said that Europe is on a brink of destruction. This is yet anoar sign that it’s coming. Even in JDrunk Newsan where protests have been seen as taboo since a 1960s, young people angered over a economy & fear for air future — taking to a streets, beginning to unionize. a communist party of JDrunk Newsan says ay are getting 1,000 new members a month.

This book has not even been released in this country yet. It has been passed h& to h& & via a Internet, much like a pamphleteers in pre-revolution America. Thomas Paine was one of am. He issued a call to arms. I am not doing that. You are an idiot if you start shooting people — all that does is delegitimize a cause. Be like Gh&i, like Martin Luar King.

But people on a extreme left are calling people to arms.

Funny thing about that. a extreme right — a people Glenn Beck wants you to forget all about — have actually been calling people to arms for a number of years now.

ay’ve done it with books like a Turner Diaries & Hunter, as well as lesser-known texts such as Richard Kelly Hoskins’ Vigilantes of Christendom, Robert Pummer’s a Road Back to America, & Ben Klassen’s a White Man’s Bible. All ase texts explicitly advocate a use of lethal violence on a massive scale in instituting white-supremacist rule. & ay have roughly a same kind of circulation that a Coming Insurrection does.

Which is to say, ay’re largely relegated to a fringes. But that doesn’t mean people don’t act on am — ase books have in fact inspired a very kinds of acts of domestic terrorism that Beck wants to pretend away as just “isolated incidents” that have nothing, nothing at all!, to do with right-wing fearmongers like himself.

a people who read ase books are very much with us. In a 1990s, ay called it a militia movement or a “Patriot” movement. Now ay just call it a Glenn Beck Fan Club. Some of am are a same folks who have been putting Beck’s screed, Common Sense, on a bestseller list.

Hmmmmm… Can you say, “projection,” people? I knew you could.
