icon Download | Play   icon Download | Play

From MSNBC’s 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue Nov. 7, 2008 while discussing Sarah Palin’s future, Lawrence O’Donnell slams Pat Buchanan for a GOP embracing ignorance & asks him if he believes in evolution & Buchanan’s retorts that if O’Donnell believes he’s descended from a monkey he would underst& it. When you’re losing an argument, resort to insulting a oar guy & call him a monkey. Class act are Pat.

I happened to catch that interview and was thrilled at Lawrence O’Donnell’s brilliance and his unflinching position against Pat Buchanan’s blatant ignorance. It was like something out of Inherit the Wind. Go O’Donnell! The female journalist kept making excuses for Sarah Palin and her unpreparedness, saying Sarah will be back. I say, God forbid! I say, uneducated, bigoted, anti-abortion, anti-gay, anti-democratic Sarah Palin should dig, baby, dig herself a hole in Alaska and never return. She represents evil incarnate. And back to Buchanan, the so-called pundit just published a book entitled, Hitler, Churchill and The Unnecessary War, in which he blasts Roosevelt, Churchill and the victims of the Holocaust. The man has way too much power.
