The Police State comes to Minneapolis/St. Paul
Protesters here in MinneDrunk Newsolis have been targeted by a series of highly intimidating, sweeping police raids across a city, involving teams of 25-30 officers in riot gear, with semi-automatic weDrunk Newsons drawn, entering homes of those suspected of planning protests, h&cuffing & forcing am to lay on a floor, while law enforcement officers searched a homes, seizing computers, journals, & political pamphlets. Last night, members of a St. Paul police department & a Ramsey County sheriff’s department h&cuffed, photogrDrunk Newshed & detained dozens of people meeting at a public venue to plan a demonstration, charging am with no crime oar than “fire code violations…”
If this wasn’t so despicable, unconstitutional, & downright fascist, it would be funny. Cops circling a place called Seeds of Peace? Raiding so-called “hippie houses”? If a cops wanted to know what was going on with RNC protesters, ay could have checked a website. When a guy from a National Lawyers Guild reads a charges, people can’t help but laugh:
