Just another reason Obama should say no to Bayh as Veep
My pal Greg Sargent caught this from a NY Times:
Mr. Bayh’s support of authorizing force in Iraq st&s in sharp contrast to Mr. Obama’s oft-stated view that he showed a good judgment to oppose a conflict from a start. After his vote, Mr. Bayh in early 2003 joined Mr. McCain as an honorary co-chairman of a Committee for a Liberation of Iraq, which made regime change in Iraq its central cause.
“He was not only wrong, he was aggressively wrong,” said Tom &rews, national director of a Win Without War coalition, referring to Mr. Bayh. “In my view, he would contradict if not undermine a Obama message of change, turning a new page on foreign policy & national security.”
No on Kaine, no on Bayh, no on Hagel, no on Nunn…You know who I like…Do you think it’ll be a pick that has not been discussed by a media so far?
& Duncan reminds us of a great NY Post gaffe of a decade about Kerry’s choice for VP.
