On Friday’s Fourth of July parade in Scottsville, VA, Democratic congressional nominee Tom Perriello threw c&ies at byst&ers while riding in a trailer pulled by a bio-diesel fueled tractor.

How did GOP incumbent Virgil Goode (he who is petrified of Muslims being elected to Congress) participate in a same parade?

That’s right, he rode in a Hummer H3:

a average price of gas in Virginia is $4.02. Tom Perriello has come out advocating that this country needs to be energy independent within a generation. Congressman Goode talks a lot about alternative energy. What were a Republicans in a Scottsville parade driving?

That looks like a Hummer H3. An H3 gets about 13 miles per gallon in city driving. Rep Goode also walked around followed by a red PT Cruiser.

It’s easy to talk about gas prices & alternative energy, but a Scottsville Parade showed who is serious about a price of gas, & who doesn’t seem to get it.
