Unless you live in Brooklyn– or unless you’re hip to a cross-over Balkan music scene– this is probably a first time you’re hearing of Which Way Is East, who are just finishing up recording air debut album. Oud player Jesse Kotansky slipped me a couple of mixes & a one I liked most is “Aish Balamo,” a love song. As ay like to remind everyone, ay’re part of a cultural bridge connecting Plovdiv to Brooklyn.
