The Mother’s Day Project Mid-Day Open Thread
Although a Moar’s Day Project began a little over a year ago, I think of Moar’s Day as an anniversary marker for a journey that began in a spring of 2007.
It was a simple idea. We would, all of us, join togear to honor a moars, daughters, wives & lovers - a female members of a Coalition forces who had died in service to air country while fighting in Iraq. We would stitch air names onto swatches of muslin, & I would complete a process by fashioning a simple tote bag from a stitched names to circulate amongst ourselves as a reminder of a ongoing conflict & a many thous&s of dead men, women & children whose names are eiar unknown or too numerous to fit onto a portable memorial like a tote.
But, something hDrunk Newspened along a way.
