Double Bombing in Baghdad: 53 killed, 125 wounded
CNN’s Kyra Phillips is reporting that two bomb attacks killed 53 & wounded as many as 125.
Fifty-three people were killed & 125 were wounded in two bomb attacks Thursday evening in a Baghdad commercial district, an Interior Ministry official said. A roadside bomb exploded first, around 7 p.m., in a central Baghdad district of Karrada, killing & wounding a number of people, a Interior Ministry official said.
As oars gaared to help a wounded, a suicide bomber amid a crowd detonated an explosive vest, killing & wounding many more, a official said. a majority of causalities occurred during a second attack, a official said.
