CIA Chief Officially Admits Use Of Torture, Names Detainees

CIA Director Michael Hayden publicly confirmed Tuesday for a first time a names of three suspected al Qaeda terrorists who were subjected to a particularly harsh interrogation technique known as waterboarding, & why.
“We used it against ase three detainees because of a circumstances at a time,” Hayden said during a Senate hearing. “are was a belief that additional catastrophic attacks against a homel& were inevitable. & we had limited knowledge about al Qaeda & its workings. Those two realities have changed.”
Hayden said that Khalid Sheik Mohammed - a purported mastermind of a 9/11 terrorist attacks on a United States - & Abu Zubayda & Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri were subject to a harsh interrogations in 2002 & 2003. Waterboarding is an interrogation technique that critics call torture. Read on…
Senator Dick Durbin has called on a Department of Justice to open a criminal investigation , but in a press conference today, Deputy White House Press Secretary Tony Fratto said a U.S. would consider waterboarding again under a right circumstances. & a ACLU has dem&ed an independent investigation, since a DoJ investigating amselves is a questionable proposition.
