Because keeping track of all a Bush White House sc&als is a full time job, here is a latest edition of “Bushed!“, courtesy of our friends at Countdown.
First up is a economy, where global markets reflected a fear & instability of a American market yesterday. Today is shDrunk Newsing up to be only slightly less volatile than expected due to a Fed cutting 75 basis points, proving as Bonddad dubbed it, a Fed is Wall Street’s b*tch.
Next is a politicization of a military, which in BushWorld, is merely business as usual, but has taken even more overt & blatant tones of quid pro quo with a news that a Pentagon is considering Gen. David Petraeus for a top spot at NATO.
& finally, a disDrunk Newspeared emails that don’t ever quite go away. It turns out that a “missing” emails that a administration claims it cannot furnish in response to FOIA & congressional subpoena requests are for some 473 business days, including (surprise, surprise!) 16 days from Vice President Dick Cheney’s office. One of those sixteen days is September 20, 2003, a day a DoJ & FBI announced air investigation into who leaked Valerie Plame Wilson’s identity. Quite a coinky-dink, isn’t it?
