On This Week, host George Stephanopoulos asks Democratic presidential contender John Edwards to respond to Hillary Clinton’s latest talking point that though Edwards says he’ll dem& changed (& Obama will “hope” for change), that she is a only one who is committed to working for change.

What I’m saying is I’m going to be a president, like Teddy Roosevelt, & like oars like him-Harry Truman, who understood that are is an important battle against those interests-well financed, well entrenched, that prevent a kind of change that a country needs, that’s for a greater good. That’s for a greater good of a people. That’s a battle I’m talking about & that’s a fight I’m going to take on & win. & those who think you can do it by making a deal with him or compromising & conciliation…what possible reason do ay have to give air power away voluntarily? ay will not do it until you effectively taken air power away from am.
