How a Bill Shouldn’t Become a Law
After weeks of wrangling, positioning, & debate, a Congress is ready to vote on a RESTORE Act, a measure to improve a FISA law that corrects some of a mistakes of a similar bill from August. So far, it’s been a bit of a disaster.
In a House, childish GOP games forced Dems to pull a bill from a floor.
& in a Senate, leaders struck a deal with a White House to allow telecom immunity.
It’s painful to watch this unfold, isn’t it?
